Apex NC Maternity Photographer | Jaclyn & Bryce at WRAL Gardens

Spring is one of my favorite seasons for outdoor photography sessions, and Jaclyn and Bryce's maternity session at WRAL Gardens was the perfect reminder of why. The gardens were bursting with colorful blooms, the weather was beautiful, and everywhere we turned there was another stunning backdrop for their portraits.

As they prepare to welcome their little one, this session was the perfect way to celebrate such an exciting chapter in their lives. There is something so special about maternity photography, it captures the anticipation, excitement, and love that grows long before baby arrives.

WRAL Gardens is one of my favorite locations in the Raleigh area for maternity and family photography. During the spring, the flowers create a beautiful and timeless setting that photographs wonderfully. The combination of vibrant colors, lush greenery, and soft natural light made every image feel warm and full of life.

One of my goals during every maternity session is to create a relaxed experience where families can simply enjoy spending time together. Whether we're walking through the gardens, sharing quiet moments, or laughing between poses, those genuine connections are what make the most meaningful photographs.

Jaclyn looked absolutely radiant among the spring blooms, and it was clear how excited both she and Bryce are to meet their baby. These fleeting months pass so quickly, making maternity portraits a beautiful way to preserve the memories before life changes in the best possible way.

If you're expecting and considering maternity photography, the ideal time for a maternity session is typically between 28 and 34 weeks. During this stage, your baby bump is beautifully visible while you're often still comfortable enough to enjoy an outdoor session.
