Newborn photography sessions typically span between 1.5 to 3 hours, tailored to accommodate the unique needs of each child. While some newborns may sleep peacefully throughout the session, others may require additional time to settle into poses. We kindly request that you allocate up to 3 hours at the studio, ensuring ample time to capture a diverse range of poses and setups. Your patience and understanding are greatly valued as we endeavor to deliver the utmost quality service.

Child Sessions can be anywhere from 45 minutes to an hour.

Outdoor sessions are typically an hour.

All outdoor sessions are done an hour before sunset. This is called the golden hour and allows for some beautiful lighting.

Duke Gardens requires a permit to have a session there. During the golden hour, a permit for 1-5 people is $200. If you would like to shoot at Duke Gardens, you will have to pay for the permit.

Sitter sessions can be anywhere from 6 months to 8 months or so. Each child is different. What you need to watch for in your child is if they are stable sitting without support.

It is best to book these sessions at 11 months. This will allow the photographer to get the images to you by the birthday.

Photographers often do not provide cakes for cake smashes, primarily to avoid liability issues related to food allergies, hygiene regulations, and licensing.
