A relaxed, fully styled newborn photography experience in my Apex studio, serving families from Cary, Raleigh, Holly Springs and the surrounding Triangle area. All wraps, outfits, props and setups are provided so you can simply arrive, relax and enjoy your baby’s first portraits.

What We Offer

All our Newborn sessions are meticulously calibrated to ensure harmonious color rendition throughout the session. Our studio boasts an extensive collection of props, headbands, and outfits, providing you with a diverse range of options to complement your session.

For optimal results, it’s recommended to schedule your newborn session before the infant reaches 21 days of age. We advise booking your session 3-6 months in advance of your due date to secure your preferred slot. In some cases, last-minute newborn sessions may be accommodated.

Why choose a studio newborn session

A studio newborn session allows everything to be prepared and ready before you arrive, creating a relaxed and stress free experience for new parents. My Apex, NC newborn photography studio is fully stocked with wraps, outfits, headbands, hats, layers and props, so there is no need to worry about bringing anything besides your baby’s essentials.

The studio is kept warm and comfortable to help babies stay sleepy and settled throughout the session. Feeding breaks, cuddles and soothing are always built into the experience, allowing plenty of time to work at your baby’s pace.

Studio newborn sessions also allow for a larger variety of setups, colors and poses that are difficult to achieve in a client’s home. Every session is customized to match your preferred colors and style, whether you love soft neutrals, florals, simple organic setups or more detailed artistic designs.

Safety is always my top priority during newborn sessions. Many images are created using safe posing techniques and composites when needed, ensuring your baby is supported and comfortable at all times.

Families travel from Apex, Cary, Raleigh, Holly Springs and surrounding areas for a fully styled newborn photography experience designed to make the process simple, relaxed and enjoyable.

What is included?

All newborn sessions include access to a large selection of wraps, outfits, headbands, hats, blankets and props carefully curated for newborn photography. Sessions are fully styled based on your preferred colors and overall vision for the session.

The studio is prepared before you arrive, making the experience simple and stress free for new parents. Feeding, soothing and cuddle breaks are always included, allowing plenty of time to work at your baby’s pace.

Family and sibling photos are also included in select newborn collections.

What if baby doesn’t sleep?

Babies are little humans and sometimes they have an upset tummy, gas, cluster feeding or simply a difficult day. While most babies settle beautifully during their newborn session, some need a little extra time and patience.

Newborn sessions are intentionally scheduled with flexibility for feeding, soothing and cuddle breaks. If your baby is having a particularly difficult day and is unable to settle after trying multiple soothing techniques, we can always reschedule and try again another day. I have never had a baby come back and not settle during their rescheduled session.

When to Book Your Newborn Session?

The ideal time to book your newborn session is during your second trimester or early third trimester to ensure availability around your due date. Newborn sessions are typically photographed within the first 2 to 3 weeks after birth, when babies are sleepiest and naturally curl into those classic newborn poses.

Family and sibling images can also be included in select newborn collections, creating meaningful portraits of your growing family during this special season.
